Square Enix will discontinue service for Babylon’s Fall on February 28, 2023, after which the game will no longer be playable.
The company has announced that. The game will be pulled from sale later today. A major update to the game was originally planned to change the game, but it has been canceled.
People who already own the game will not be able to make in-game purchases after today. It is expected that various in-game activities will be held in the near future as a thank you to the current players. For example, after November 29, a final season has to start, with which players can unlock various special items.
Babylon’s Fall is an action game from PlatinumGames – known for Bayonetta and Nier: Automata – in which players can fight with a multi-purpose sword. It also acts as a rope that allows players to pull themselves toward enemies to create combos. The gameplay is very reminiscent of Devil May Cry.
The game was released earlier this year, but was criticized by the press. In addition, the game had only a small number of players.
