Green first named Michael Jordan to the roster before adding James. Green also said Kobe Bryant and Magic Johnson, two Lakers legends, were on his list. His teammate, Stephen Curry, was the fifth name.

The former Michigan State star said he didn’t like putting players on the roster who weren’t part of his era, citing Wilt Chamberlain as an example because Green couldn’t watch him play . However, he can say he has watched, played against, or played with everyone on his roster.

James and Green fought multiple times in the NBA Finals, so it’s no surprise to see Green respecting LeBron.
