Dallas @ Sacramento

Current records: Dallas 16-17; Sacramento 14-21

What there is to know

The Dallas Mavericks’ road trip will continue as they head to the Golden 1 Center at 10:30 p.m. ET on Wednesday to face the Sacramento Kings. These two teams enter the match strengthened by victories in their previous matches.

The Mavericks were set to lose to the Portland Trail Blazers on Monday, but instead received a cute Christmas stocking. The stars were shining for Dallas in a 132-117 win over Portland. Dallas forward Kristaps Porzingis did his thing and had 34 points and five assists as well as nine rebounds.

Meanwhile, although it wasn’t a dominant performance, Sacramento beat the Oklahoma City Thunder 117-111 on Tuesday. Among those leading the charge for Sacramento was sniper Tyrese Haliburton, who shot 5-for-8 from downtown and finished with a double-double on 24 points and dimes.

Barring any buzzer beaters, the Mavericks should win a close contest. They might be worth trying their hand at ATS as they are currently on a two-game winning streak against ATS.

Dallas didn’t get much of a break from their game against the Kings when the teams last met in October, but they came away with a 105-99 victory nonetheless. The rematch could be a bit more difficult for Dallas since the team will not have the advantage on the field. We will see if the change of location makes a difference.
