Dallas Mavericks star guard Luka Doncic is uncertain for Friday’s game against the Houston Rockets with a right ankle injury.

Doncic picked up an injury in the dying minutes of Wednesday’s 99-82 home win over the Golden State Warriors. He limped off the ground with 1:33 remaining.

Subsequently, Doncic said he was not concerned about the injury.

“I twisted it, but it’s not the wrong one so I guess it will be fine,” Doncic said, referring to the left ankle he injured twice earlier this season.

Doncic recently missed 10 straight games – five with a left ankle injury and five during COVID-19 protocol.

The fourth-year player averages 25 points, 8.8 assists and 8.0 rebounds in 24 games.

The Mavericks will also be without big man Kristaps Porzingis (COVID-19 protocol) for the third game in a row. He entered protocol on Monday.
