NBA postpones Warriors v Nuggets game on Thursday


After battling at the Chase Center on Tuesday, the Golden State Warriors and Denver Nuggets were scheduled to meet in a back-to-back rematch Thursday at the Pepsi Center. However, the rematch will have to wait another day.

The NBA postponed the Golden State game in Denver on Thursday due to health and safety protocols. With multiple players in the league’s COVID-19 protocol, the Nuggets do not have the minimum eight players available to play on Thursday.

Ahead of Thursday’s game, Denver’s Jeff Green, Bones Hyland and Zeke Nnaji entered the league’s COVID-19 health and safety protocol. Michael Porter Jr., Jamal Murray, PJ Dozier and Markus Howard were also excluded from the Nuggets on Thursday due to various injuries.

Draymond Green, James Wiseman and Damion Lee are also part of the NBA’s COVID-19 health and safety protocol for the Warriors.

Golden State will now have two days to go to meet the Utah Jazz on New Years Day at 6 p.m. PT.
