Center Bobby Portis has led the way so far for Milwaukee, as he has 20 points with nine boards. One thing to watch out for is the deplorable situation of Giannis Antetokounmpo, who currently has three.

Brooklyn was led by forward Kevin Durant, who so far has 19 points and three assists in addition to eight rebounds. KD also committed three faults.

What there is to know

The Brooklyn Nets have been on the wrong side of a one-sided rivalry with the Milwaukee Bucks and are hoping to register their first victory since June 15 of last year. Brooklyn will play at home against Milwaukee at 7:30 p.m. ET on Friday. The Nets are set to stop a three-game losing streak at home.

Brooklyn earned a 129-121 victory over the Indiana Pacers on Wednesday. The victory came thanks to a strong push after halftime to overcome a 73-60 deficit. Power forward Kevin Durant continued his habit of dropping insane stat lines, picking up 39 points and seven assists as well as eight rebounds.

Meanwhile, Milwaukee was within striking distance but couldn’t close the gap Wednesday as they lost 117-111 to the Toronto Raptors. Milwaukee’s loss shouldn’t obscure the performance of small forward Khris Middleton, who had 25 points in addition to six rebounds, and center DeMarcus Cousins, who posted a double-double with 15 points and ten rebounds.

The Nets are the favorites in this one, with an expected margin of victory of 4.5 points. Those who stay with them ATS have guts, to put it politely, as the team has let punters down in their last four games.

Brooklyn suffered a grim 127-104 loss to the Bucks in the teams’ previous meeting last October. Maybe Brooklyn will have better luck at home than on the road? Watch the contest and come back to CBS Sports for all the details.
