Raptors’ VanVleet and Siakam advance in second All-Star fan vote


Toronto Raptors star Fred VanVleet rose from 10th to eighth among Eastern Conference guards in second NBA All-Star fan vote, while Pascal Siakam makes his top 10 debut at eight among the frontline players.

Stephen Curry (4,463,426) and LeBron James (4,386,392) lead all players in the vote, while Kevin Durant (4,088,334) and DeMar DeRozan (2,973,854) lead all conference frontcourt and guards respectively. East.

VanVleet received 350,806 votes and Siakam received 244,042.

Half of the fan vote totals are used to determine the starting eleven; active actors and members of the media determine the other half.

The NBA All-Star Game is scheduled for February 20 in Cleveland.

The Raptors are back in action on Friday when they travel to Detroit to face the Pistons.
