Shorthanded jazz appear to have enough players to take on the Raptors

The Utah Jazz appear to have enough players to play Friday night in Toronto against the Raptors.

On Friday, the Jazz signed a 10-day difficulty contract with center Norvel Pelle to help ensure they have the minimum of eight players available.

Utah has nine players on the injured list, including Rudy Gobert and Joe Ingles in health and safety protocols.

Utah won’t have its top three scorers – Donovan Mitchell (back), Bogdon Bogdanavic (finger) and Gobert.

The nine top scorers in Jazz are all absent or questionable.

The Raptors have won four straight wins – all against teams missing key players – after going through their own shorthanded stretch due to COVID-19 issues.
