Denver and the Oklahoma City Thunder will face off in a Northwest Division battle at 7 p.m. ET Sunday at Paycom Center. The Nuggets will not have the advantage on the field, but they have a 7 point advantage in the gap.

Denver beat the Sacramento Kings 121-111 last Friday. Denver center Nikola Jokic did his thing and dropped a double-double with 33 points and ten boards with seven cents. It’s been seven straight games in which Jokic has taken at least ten rebounds.

Meanwhile, 2022 “greeted” Oklahoma City with a 135-105 loss courtesy of the Minnesota Timberwolves last Friday. OKC was down 103-80 at the end of the third quarter which was just too much to recover. Oklahoma City’s top scorer was small forward Luguentz Dort (18 points).

Denver’s victory took them to 19-18 while Oklahoma City’s loss brought them down to 13-25. We’ll see if the Nuggets can repeat their recent success or if the Thunder bounce back and reverse their fortunes.
