It’s real and not fake news: Donald Trump is the commentator at Triller Fight Club’s boxing match between Evander Holyfield and Vitor Belfort next Saturday.
The 45th President of the United States is part of the organization Triller’s broadcast on Fite TV. The event will be held at the Seminole Hard Rock Casino & Resort in Hollywood. Holyfield, who last played a match in 2011, was actually supposed to fight boxing legend Oscar de la Hoya, but the latter got corona and Belfort replaced him.
According to Trill, Trump will “host and commentate” the event. The boxing match will last a maximum of 8 rounds. “I love great fighters and great fights,” Trump said in response. “I look forward to seeing both this Saturday night and sharing my thoughts ringside. You won’t want to miss this special event.”
The fight starts at 7:00 PM (US time) and it costs a whopping 50 (!) dollars to watch online. Apart from live tickets, the game can only be seen via Pay Per View (PVV). Trump has done a good job of that.
The big man is an acquaintance of Dana White and an outspoken martial arts enthusiast. For example, Trump previously organized several UFC evenings in 1 of his casinos. White also supported him for another term as president in the White House. It didn’t get that far. However, up to a comment spot at Triller, the big rival ‘challenger’ of UFC .
