The classic shoot-em ‘up Radiant Silvergun is now available for purchase from the Nintendo Switch eShop.
During the Nintendo Direct yesterday, the sudden release of the shmup was revealed.
Radiant Silvergun originally appeared in arcades and on the Saturn in 1998. At the time, the game was only available in Japan. In the years that followed, the game from legendary developer Treasure built a cult following. In 2011, Radiant Silvergun was also released digitally on Xbox 360.
Treasure hinted at an announcement back in June. The company then celebrated its thirtieth anniversary and announced that a much sought-after game was on the way. Other games from the developer include Ikaruga, Bangai-O, Sin & Punishment, and Mischief Makers.
