Bare Knuckle FC – Paige VanZant’s return targeted for April

Bare Knuckle – Former UFC resident Paige VanZant is set to return in April.

Arriving at Bare Knuckle FC with star status, Paige VanZant has yet to live up to expectations. Indeed, the former UFC athlete lost her first two fights in the organization against Britain Hart and Rachael Ostovich.

Despite these complicated beginnings, VanZant remains one of the stars of Bare Knuckle FC, in particular thanks to his popularity on the networks. A date for his return has yet to be set, but according to Dave Feldman, the organization’s president, April is a possibility.

“She’s going to fight again,” he said in an interview with MMA Fighting. “I don’t have a specific date but I would like her to come back in April. It would be great to bring her back and there are a lot of talents that could be good opponents for her in April-May. “

At the end of her contract, VanZant would consider returning to MMA and more particularly to the Bellator where her husband, Austin Vanderford, will soon face Gegard Mousasi for the middleweight title.

In MMA, VanZant has lost four of his last six fights. Her last appearance in the cage dates back to July 11, 2020, she then bowed by submission to Amanda Ribas.
