Micahel Cyr remains undefeated after an incredible comeback Friday night.
At LFA 121 in Dallas, Cyr (4-0) took on Alden Coria, entering the competition as a massive underdog. Coria (5-1) had control of the fight in the first two rounds, seemingly heading for a unanimous decision victory if the fight saw the final horn.
However, Cyr had his say in the outcome and attempted the submission he requested before the fight, a twister. The attempt was deep and somehow Coria didn’t tap into the rare technique. Cyr didn’t completely drop the submissions after the twister failed, and moved to a bare back choke while Coria’s arm was stuck behind his back.

Cyr picked up the comeback win as a huge underdog to pull out an early Candidate of the Year submission. Three of his four pro wins have come by submission, while the other was a first-round TKO.
