MMA – Nate Diaz and Dustin Poirier walk away one step further from a clash at UFC 270.
Dustin Poirier and Nate Diaz continue to warm themselves through the media. After his loss to Charles Oliveira at UFC 269, “The Diamond” said:
“When I’m lying down and thinking about my next fight, nothing turns me on unless Nate Diaz wants to fight. If he wants to fight, that turns me on. But all these other guys, even the new ones, and whoever it is, none of which turns me on (yet). “
Eager to participate in UFC 270 which takes place not far from his home, next month, Diaz immediately replied:
“I’ll fight Dustin Poirier in January, don’t be a scared little bitch, it’s now or never.” “
However, since this exchange, no significant progress has been recorded towards the realization of this fight. Blame it on Nate Diaz according to Dustin Poirier. Responding to a fan on Twitter, the latter wrote:
“I’m down there, he’s not. “
Diaz was quick to respond to Poirier’s accusation in a tweet since deleted:
“You are not deserving. If you wanted to fight, we would have done it already. Bring yourself back from the dead, you fear Dustin Poirier! “
Diaz therefore no longer seems to consider this poster a priority. The Stockton native is said to have recently extended his UFC contract and Dana White has made it clear that he is up for the trilogy against Conor McGregor.
Who do you want to see Nate Diaz against on his return to the Octagon?
