Sean Brady wants to face Stephen Thompson in April

MMA – Undefeated Sean Brady wants to go up against legend Stephen Thompson.

Considered, with Khamzat Chimaev, as one of the greatest hopes of the welterweight division, Sean Brady wishes to face a higher ranked opponent to continue his ascent. Among the names that interest him is that of Stephen Thompson, currently seventh in the division.

“I’ve always fought to the top and that will always be my goal. I’d like to test myself against legend Stephen Thompson. So what do you say? #7 vs. #9. April ? “Wrote Brady on Instagram.

Still undefeated in MMA (15-0), Brady is coming off a unanimous decision win over Michael Chiesa in November. More recently, he also caused a stir by defeating grappling star Craig Jones at FURY Pro Grappling 3.

For his part, Stephen Thompson (16-6) is on a completely different dynamic. Indeed, the ‘Wonderboy’ comes out of two defeats on points against Gilbert Burns and Belal Muhammad. An announced time close to the release, the 38-year-old American denied saying he wanted to continue his career. However, it is not certain that Brady is the opponent who allows him to resume his forward march.
