Almost five years since Michael Bisping surprised Luke Rockhold to win the UFC 199 middleweight title, bad blood was still there between the two fighters.

At least, that’s what we thought until last March, when Bisping walked into RVCA Sport in Costa Mesa, Calif., And met Rockhold, whom he once called “fa ** ot c *” * ksucker “after beating him.

What happened next, no one could expect, but it happened:

Bisping later told MMA Junkie what it was like to see Rockhold that day:

“He trains there with (Jason) Parillo now at RVCA, so I still go there every now and then when I can get in, work out, and I half expected him to be there one day. What will I do? Am I going to come in and be ad * ck? No, it’s water under the bridge. We shared two fights. It’s weird, you have a, I wouldn’t say a connection, but you definitely shared an unforgettable experience with this person.

“I’ve always said that if I were to meet Luke in another form or under different circumstances, we would probably get along because he is friends with people I have a lot of respect for, like Daniel Cormier. Cormier is a smart guy. He is a good judge of character. If he loves Luke, I’m sure he can’t be that bad. So I went in and saw him. What are you going to do? Are you gonna talk shit? I just laughed, so we shook hands quickly, and I kidnapped his dog and put him on social media and that’s it.
