The annual general meeting will take place at FC Bayern on Thursday evening. Member Michael Ott’s request to end Qatar’s sponsorship is unlikely to be negotiated then. However, the lawyer still sees a chance.

Ott filed a claim at the end of October demanding that his favorite club let the sponsorship deal with Qatar Airways expire.
The record champions have yet to respond to, admit or reject the application. Ott had tried to get an injunction in Munich regional court, which was dismissed for lack of urgency – as was the complaint against the court ruling on Thursday.
Spontaneous application is always possible – “A high obstacle”
This means that the 28-year-old’s interest group is only given the opportunity to submit an unsolicited application during Thursday night’s meeting. According to Ott’s Twitter post at noon, he will choose this method because “all is not lost”.
For a spontaneous candidacy to be voted on, the approval of 75 percent of the members present is required. The original request itself only needs 50 percent approval to be accepted. 75 percent is a “very high obstacle”, as Ott of AZ Munich says, and describes FC Bayern’s behavior as “treacherous and despicable to force it into this situation”.
I didn’t expect it to be necessary at some point and the club to behave in such an unsportsmanlike manner.
He would never have thought that Ott would file a complaint against “his club” – he has been a fan since 2002, member since 2007 – because “in fact, I did not expect it to be necessary at some point and that the club become so unsportsmanlike behaves “.
