Julian Green has experimented with many wave pools with SpVgg Greuther Fürth since 2017. Now the 26-year-old extends the club until 2024.

Two second division relegations prevented, the second Bundesliga promotion in Fürth’s history equalized – and now the unfortunate situation at the bottom of the table. The American has been lacing his clover football boots since August 2017, having previously worked for such well-known clubs as VfB Stuttgart, Bayern Munich and Hamburger SV. Green has now prematurely extended the contract, which expires in summer 2022, for two years until summer 2024.
“Julian feels very comfortable with us, and we are absolutely convinced of him and his quality. It speaks for him that he is now giving the signal that we will continue to work together in the future. not an easy phase for but I am convinced that the effort we have provided will be rewarded once again, ”explains Sport Director General Rachid Azzouzi.

121 competitive games for SpVgg since 2017
In the meantime, Green has played for the club in 121 competitive games and has been involved in 30 goals: “Our journey is not over yet. We have already mastered a lot, taken up major challenges and thanks to a clear concept. I am still absolutely convinced of this, have full confidence in the people involved, and that is why I have already decided to extend the expiring contract, ”said Green, explaining his decision.
In the current season he has made eight of the twelve Bundesliga appearances, including seven in the starting XI. He’s yet to score a hit in the upper chamber for Fürth’s side.
