Eintracht professional Sam Lammers harvests Shitstorm after BVB bankruptcy

After the last-minute bankruptcy against BVB, some Eintracht Frankfurt fans shot at striker Sam Lammers. Atalanta Bergamo’s summer newcomer earned a shitstorm on Instagram — and a lot of encouragement after that.

“Such a bottle. Not to look at. Stumbling clown”, for example, was stated in the comment columns under a photo that Lammers had already distributed on the social media platform a few weeks ago. One comment even included the hashtag “#LammersDeath”.

The 24-year-old Dutchman, who was loaned to Eintracht from Atalanta in the summer, was substituted for Frankfurt in the 66th minute by coach Oliver Glasner when the score was 2-0. Then BVB turned the game around, Lammers’ passivity was in favor of Jude Bellingham’s compensation.

After the first half of the season and the start of the second half, his loan from Eintracht is still under a bad star: the striker has been waiting for his second Bundesliga goal for the SGE since September 19 and he barely played at the end of the first half of the season a role and only came to one three-minute short assignment in the competition. In the Europa League, however, he was allowed to collect an average of 20 minutes of match training.

After Saturday night’s shit storm, he received a lot of encouragement from some Frankfurt supporters under the relevant Instagram post, who are also ashamed of the behavior of the other SGE supporters. “You’ll get out of there again” and “Please don’t let the abusive idiots bring you down here,” read the comment columns.
