A complete or at least almost complete team remains a dream for Stefan Leitl. The Fürth coach also had to improvise against TSG Hoffenheim on Saturday afternoon.

Left-back Jetro Willems injured his ankle during training on Tuesday, while Paul Seguin was unable to train on Wednesday due to a bad cold.
An exact diagnosis was pending at Willems on Wednesday, with a ligament injury to be feared. The Dutchman’s involvement on Saturday (3:30 p.m., LIVE! Kicker) is therefore highly questionable. For him, Marco Meyerhöfer could switch from right to left against Hoffenheim and bring Simon Asta or Abdourahmane Barry into the team.
Leitl excluded Seguin from the starting lineup on Wednesday; he could only be in the team for the day if he ran again on Thursday and took part in the last training session on Friday. Things are looking a little better for Cédric Itten, the Swiss striker also has a cold. Luca Itter is isolated after a corona infection.
More recently, Fürth has performed well twice against Hoffenheim
It will be exciting to see who Leitl trusts. As a reminder: At the end of the 6th day, number 2 Marius Funk succeeded Sascha Burchert. In the end, neither of them managed to convince during the season, so a further change was not decided, but also not to be ruled out.
By the way, Clubs have done well against Hoffenheim recently. In the Cup, it was the Second Division team that won away on penalties last season, and in a test match before the start of the season, it was 2-2. Bodes well for the ten-game losing streak to end? Another would mean the only negative record in Bundesliga history.
