SC Freiburg: Schlotterbeck and Flek fail after positive corona tests

SC Freiburg will have to do without national player Nico Schlotterbeck and goalkeeper Mark Flek at the start of the second half of the season. As the Breisgauer announced on Saturday afternoon before the game against Arminia Bielefeld, the duo is missing due to positive corona tests. In addition, central defender Kiliann Sildillia was infected.

The company from Freiburg had already reported the three corona cases on Friday, but initially did not disclose the names of the infected persons. Compared to the win over Bayer Leverkusen (2:1) before the winter break, Benjamin Uphoff moves in for Flek, while Nico Schlotterbeck is replaced in the defense center by his brother Keven.
