Juninho: “It’s a very balanced group.”
Juninho and Peter Bosz gave their opinion on the opponents of the Gones at the end of the draw.
“It’s a very balanced group. The matches against the Rangers are always difficult. […]. A trip to Prague is also always special. I don’t know Brondby personally, but they’re a team that plays well on the ball and always wants to play forward, that’s interesting. Only the first will go directly. It is therefore important to get off to a good start. You have to respect all your opponents, but you can finish first in the group ”, declared the sporting director of the OL.
Peter Bosz: “These are good clubs, we have no choice.”
“These are well-known clubs. Rangers have long been champion in Scotland, as is Brondby in Denmark. Sparta Prague came second behind Slavia in the Czech Republic. They are good clubs. I take the print as it is. We do not have a choice. We will focus above all on Ligue 1, “said the OL coach. The group stage will take place between September 16 and December 9, 2021, then the 8th, quarter and semi-finals will follow. As for the final, it will take place on May 18, 2022 at the Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán Stadium in Seville, Spain.
