Kylian Mbappe is not making himself popular in France. The Paris Saint-Germain attacker caused a stir on Wednesday evening by looking for a confrontation with keeper Alexandre Oukidja after Achraf Hakimi’s winning goal against Metz (1-2).
Star player Neymaar was also involved in this. While everyone ran to the Moroccan international after Hakimi’s goal, Mbappe was busy with the keeper. He said some words to him, but Oukidja was not pleased.
He gave chase to Mbappe, but was knocked down by Neymar. The Brazilian and the goalkeeper were shown yellow, while Mbappe escaped all penalties. Metz coach Frederic Antonetti was therefore not pleased with the action of the French international.
“I like the footballer Kylian Mbappe,” he began his story. “But he will have to behave differently if he wants to be loved. It would do him good to be a little more humble.” Together with Neymar, Mbappé was in the base, just likethe later substituted Gini Wijnaldum. Lionel Messi was out due to a knee injury. PSG top the league in Ligue 1.
