Due to the corona pandemic, Tottenham Hotspur suffered a loss of the equivalent of € 95million last season. Liabilities increased at the end of June from 119 million to 839 million euros.
The Premier League club announced on Tuesday. Due to ghost games, audience revenues have increased from 112 to 2.3 million euros.
“With no less than three blockages our operations have been seriously disrupted,” said Tottenham club boss Daniel Levy.
Spurs were particularly affected as they had just opened their new € 1.4 billion stadium with a capacity of 63,000 spectators.
