Romelu Lukaku can’t do much with Thomas Tuchel’s play system at Chelsea.
“Physically I’m fine, but I’m not happy with my situation at Chelsea,” the Belgian striker told Sky Sports: “Tuchel has chosen a different game system. I will remain professional, but I am not happy.”
Lukaku was last absent due to an injury and then due to a corona infection. However, since his comeback, the 28-year-old has scored twice in two games.
Lukaku scored the goal to make it 2-1 in a 3-1 win at Aston Villa on Boxing Day. On Wednesday he gave the Blues the lead in the 1-1 draw against Brighton & Hove Albion. He has scored a total of seven goals in 18 competitive games this season.
Lukaku only moved from Inter Milan to Stamford Bridge in the summer. The Antwerp man can already imagine that he will return to Inter.
“I have always said that I will have Inter in my heart. I know that one day I will return, I really hope so. I love Italy, now is the right time to talk about it,” said Lukaku.
