Juventus has finally said goodbye to Cristiano Ronaldo and agreed with Manchester United on a transfer for the Portuguese world star.
As the Italian record champions announced, the Manchester United will pay 15 million euros for the 36-year-old. This sum can increase by a further eight million if certain conditions are met. Both clubs announced the agreement on the transfer last Friday, and the final details have now been clarified. Ronaldo’s contract with the Italians would actually have been valid for another year.
Ronaldo moved from Sporting Lisbon to Manchester United in the Premier League in the summer of 2003 for 19 million euros. Six years later, Real Madrid paid Manchester United € 94 million for Cristiano Ronaldo. In 2008 he won the Champions League with Manchester United. With Real Madrid, Cristiano Ronaldo later succeeded before he moved to Juventus in the summer of 2018. With Juventus he won the championship twice, the Italian Super Cup and the cup once.
