Liverpool have reached an agreement with Jordan Henderson to sign a new contract. The Reds could also try to recruit a second player before the transfer window closes.
Liverpool extend their captain
Liverpool were relatively calm in the transfer window in the direction of arrivals. The Reds have once again focused their efforts on maintaining their workforce. The Mersey club have extended many major players in recent months. And after Trent Alexander-Arnold, Fabinho, Virgil Van Dijk or Andrew robertson, another executive from Jürgen Klopp’s team is extending the adventure.
The extension of Jordan Henderson is now official. The 31-year-old has signed a new long-term lease with the club he joined ten years ago. According to Fabrizio Romano, the new contract runs until 2025. Klopp is therefore satisfied with the signing of his captain, which he absolutely wanted to complete this summer.
