God of War: Ragnarök Gameplay Showcases Svartalfheim

A new video featuring gameplay from God of War: Ragnarök gives viewers a glimpse into Svartalfheim, a new world of the game.

The video comes from Game Informer. Svartalfheim is one of the three realms that were not accessible in the previous part. The Norse supreme god Odin had blocked access to three of the nine realms. In Ragnarök, all nine realms are accessible. According to director Eric Williams, the world that players have already seen feels new. Svartalfheim is the homeworld of the dwarves.

Game Informer previously showed images in which Kratos showed part of his weapon arsenal. Among other things, Blades of Chaos, ax and a shield can be seen in action. New to Ragnarök is the ability to press triangle to use Kratos’ weapon’s Signature Move. For example, Kratos can make his weapon stronger with the help of fire or ice.

God of War: Ragnarök will be released on November 9 for PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4.
