Microsoft Flight Simulator update adds DLSS support on PC

An update for Microsoft Flight Simulator has been released that, among other things, adds DLSS support to the PC version.

Developer Asobo has announced this. Sim Update 10 is now available for PC and Xbox. DLSS is now supported on PC. DLSS stands for Deep Learning Super Sampling, which scales up resolutions with an AI-driven algorithm.

Furthermore, the patch should make the game more stable and provide better performance. Memory usage is also more efficient, especially when using Direct X12. Clouds in the game are now stacked in a more realistic way, making them appear even more real. All changes can be found in the patch notes.

Several expansions for Microsoft Flight Simulator have been released this year, including an expansion based on the Top Gun franchise and several world updates to add more details to cities and airports. A new update will be rolled out later this month that will provide more details to various areas in Canada.

The 40th Annivesary Edition of Flight Simulator will then be released on November 11, which will also be offered as a free update to current owners. It includes six new airports, an Airbus A310, six historic aircraft, helicopters and gliders.
