The Aston Martin team has released images of the construction of the new factory. The team wants to compete for the world title in the long run and is taking the first step towards that goal with the factory.
The new building will consist of three different departments. For example, there will be its own wind tunnel and a new simulator. It is the intention that all Formula 1 activities will take place in the new factory. Construction of the new facility is expected to be completed by early 2023. The team is earmarking around £200 million for the project.
Lawrence Stroll is the big man behind the renovations. The Canadian and father of Formula 1 driver Lance Stroll has big plans for Aston Martin. The main goal is to become world champion and that is why he pulls his wallet for that.
Otmar Szafnauer will not go to the new factory. The Romanian American has now said goodbye to Aston Martin and seems to be on his way to the French Alpine. Stroll’s team has not yet announced a replacement for Szafnauer.
