Lewis Hamilton is rated higher than Max Verstappen in F1 2021. A recent update in the Formula 1 game made sure of that.
F1 2021 came out in June this year and several updates have been released to the game since then. Some of those updates have to do with the so-called ‘driver ratings’ in the game. In this assessment, the Formula 1 drivers are individually rated on the points: experience, speed, awareness and ‘racecraft’ and then an overall rating rolls out. When the game came out, Max Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton both received a score of 95 out of 100 on the overall rating.
However, Hamilton’s rating was lowered to 94 after the dramatic crash between the two title rivals at Silverstone. In the latest update, which takes into account the past triple header, Verstappen’s rating has been lowered. The Dutchman now has a score of 93, one point less than Hamilton.
“Max Verstappen’s racecraft has been increased by one point, but it is Which incident in Italy, with the subsequent penalty, which cost him dearly,” reads the website of Electronic Arts, the game’s publisher. The crash with Hamilton on Monza lowers Verstappen’s consciousness score by nine points, reducing his overall rating by two points.” Lewis Hamilton is currently at the top of the driver ratings battle. Due to what he showed on the track, his rating is unchanged,” said Electronic Arts.
There are even more changes to the driver ratings. Valtteri Bottas, Carlos Sainz and Mick Schumacher are all rising in rating. Esteban Ocon, like Verstappen, loses a number of points. The driver is blamed for his collision with Sebastian Vettel in Monza.
