It was previously known that Max Verstappen has to report to the race management on Sunday morning, because of not respecting the double yellow flag. The FIA has now announced that Carlos Sainz and Valtteri Bottas must also be involved.
In the final phase of qualifying on the Losail International Circuit, Pierre Gasly suddenly had a blowout on the start/finish line. As a result, a yellow flag had to be used. This means that the drivers will have to significantly reduce their speed or, in the case of a double yellow flag, abort their lap. If a driver does not react adequately enough, he can just get a hefty penalty.
It was previously announced that Verstappen must report to the race management next Sunday at 11:00 AM Dutch time, due to the alleged failure to respect the double yellow flags. The FIA has now announced that Bottas and Sainz must also come by tomorrow. Sainz must report at 11:30 am Dutch time, Bottas at 11:45 am Dutch time.
