The special Italian GP weekend is scheduled for this weekend from September 10 to 12. Special, because for the second time ever we see a sprint qualifying in Formula 1.
That sprint qualification has consequences for the entire set-up of the race weekend. That will start later with the first free practice on Friday at 2:30 PM. Qualifying on the same day can be viewed with the board on your lap, after all, it starts at 6:00 PM.
A day later, the second free practice session starts at 12:00 on Saturday, followed by the sprint qualifying at 16:30. In a half-hour race, points are awarded for the top three and the grid is determined for the actual Grand Prix. It starts on Sunday, September 12 at 3:00 PM.
