Fabio Quartararo won the title of champion against Francesco Bagnaia; the italian was the strongest in the Ducati universe, but almost every rider on the italian motorcycle, with the exception of Luca Marini, achieved at least one podium in 2021.
Asked if he is afraid of the progress that Ducati has made on his bike, Fabio Quartararo confirmed that feeling, but also made it clear that whoever is at the controls of a Desmosedici is a human being who also makes mistakes.
‘Yes, they took a big step, but I always say that they also have riders and having so many to fight together is a positive thing. Between the struggling riders and the bike that grew…’, he said after being confronted with the number of Ducati motorcycles that will be on track next year:
– The first gray hairs are starting to show up, but we have to believe in Yamaha and we hope to find some strength next year to fight with a little less effort.
