The Coordinate Institute of Governance and Applied Economics has presented the classification by specialties of the Hospital Excellence Index, IEH 202, which values the quality of care, hospital service, well-being and patient satisfaction, as well as innovative capacity, personalized attention and resource efficiency; betting on the quality and sustainability of a universal health system. A joint analysis of hospitals, both public and private, prepared through surveys of nearly 2,000 health professionals throughout Spain, based on the results and perceptions of the professionals who work in them.
A classification that has been led, one more year and for the fifth consecutive edition, by the Jiménez Díaz Foundation of Madrid, although by specialties it has been recognized as the best center in Spain in the field of traumatology the Quirón Dexeus University Hospital of Barcelona and specifically its related department, the Institut Català de Traumatologia i Medicina de l’Esport (ICATME), which for many years has maintained a close relationship with the MotoGP World Championship and ensures the health of the riders.

This accreditation from the Joint Commission International is the most demanding worldwide for the health field and analyzes that all hospital care and processes are focused on safety and quality, and on a process of continuous improvement.
