The demand of MotoGP for riders is such that, according to Pol Espargaró, when he stops fully dedicating himself to the sport, results will start to decline.
The Spaniard spoke of how MotoGP takes over his life even when he manages to be at home with his family, quoted in the documentary ‘Eu, pilot’, on the broadcaster DAZN:
– Until this moment, I have rarely been able to enjoy my family as I believe I should, because this bubble we live in is very selfish. I just live for my sport. To the point that if the results on the bike aren’t good, I can’t enjoy my family, which is really sad.
