A new trailer for Bayonetta 3 was shown during the Nintendo Direct this afternoon.
The trailer can be viewed below. The Bayonetta series revolves around the titular witch who finds herself in the middle of a battle between heaven and hell. In terms of gameplay, the action games resemble the Devil May Cry series, where dizzying moves can be strung together via combos.
In the third part, Bayonetta has to team up with some old acquaintances, such as the journalist Luka and the Umbra witch Jeanne. The witch-in-the-hood Viola also makes her appearance.
Since Bayonetta 2, Nintendo has been funding the development of the games – which is why the second part has never been released on other platforms and the third part will also be released exclusively for Switch.
Bayonetta 3 will be released on Nintendo Switch on October 28.
