It’s now or never for Carolina. The club have three weeks to activate the former Best Defender in the league.
Prior to his transfer from New England to Carolina, Stephon Gilmore was listed as Physically Unable to Perform list following a quadriceps tear last year. This kept him away from training with his new formation until week 6. This one being played, the cornerback will be able to join his teammates.
According to NFL Media, Gilmore should return to the lawn during the week. As soon as he resumes training the Panthers will have three weeks to activate him. Otherwise, it will be made unavailable for the rest of the season.
Two-time All Pro, five-time Pro Bowler, and 2019 Defender of the Year, Gilmore hasn’t played competitively since last December. Yet Carolina should put him into action quickly to reverse the collapse of the club for three weeks.
