Nintendo has emphasized that the Switch game Advance Wars 1 + 2: Re-Boot Camp has not been canceled.
A company spokesperson reported this to journalist Stephen Totilo. “The release has been postponed. We will announce a new date as soon as it is set.”
The game was actually scheduled for release last April, but due to the war in Ukraine, the game was postponed indefinitely. In the meantime, however, no new release date has been announced and the game was not shown during the Nintendo Direct yesterday.
Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp is a Switch remake of the first two Advance Wars games released on the Game Boy Advance. In the franchise, players must strategically wage war with an army. Players determine the actions and routes of their troops on land, sea and in the air.
