Niantic, the studio behind Pokémon Go, is working on the mobile ar-game Marvel: World of Heroes.
That was announced yesterday during the Disney & Marvel Games Showcase. Marvel: World of Heroes is set to release on mobile platforms next year and will let players create their own superhero to patrol their neighborhood and track down criminals.
In the game, people build their own hero with unique origin story and can also team up with famous heroes, including Wolverine and Spider-Man. The game should be released sometime next year, but a beta test should go live in a few countries soon. You can register via the official website.
Niantic is best known for making several similar ar games, including Pokémon Go, NBA All-World and Pikmin Bloom.
