Sharper versions of Silent Hill 2 images surfaced

Sharper versions of the leaked Silent Hill 2 images have surfaced.

The images are shared by twitterer Rebs Gaming who previously shared accurate information about Assassin’s Creed Mirage. “The Silent Hill 2 appears to be real,” he writes. “Here are clear versions of the fuzzy images I shared. Another Silent Hill leak will follow soon.” The sharper images can be seen below.

The images are said to come from an internal pitch for the game, according to insider Dusk Golem. “These are from an internal Bloober demo before the game was green-lighted, so it’s a no-budget proof of concept. This is not what the game will look like in the end.” The images can be viewed in the tweets below.

Earlier, rumors surfaced that Bloober Team, the creator of The Medium, Blair Witch and Layers of Fear, would be working on a remake of Silent Hill 2. The remake is said to feature revamped puzzles and several new endings. The game would be temporarily exclusive to PlayStation. Whether this concerns the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 or just the PS5, is not known. The remake has not yet been officially announced.

Silent Hill 2 was originally released for the PlayStation 2 in 2001 and was developed by Konami and Team Silent. In 2012, the last Silent Hill spin-off, Silent Hill: Book of Memories, came out for the PlayStation Vita and the horror franchise has been quiet ever since.
