Splatoon 3 images are doing the rounds on the internet

A lot of images of Splatoon 3 are floating around on the internet. The game won’t be officially released until Friday, but a handful of players already have it in their hands.

The Twitter account Splatoon3Leaks has already shared several images of the campaign of the new Splatoon game (via VGC). Some of those videos have already been removed after copyright claims. According to some users, the game has been cracked on PC, making all files transparent. Videos of the campaign’s end are already floating around on the internet.

It is not the first time that a Nintendo game has been on the street before release. This has already happened with Xenoblade Chronicles 3, Pokémon Legends: Arceus and Pokémon Brilliant Diamon & Shining Pearl. In 2020, Nintendo cut ties with a Portuguese website, as they were responsible for leaking information about Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield.

Splatoon 3 will be released on the Nintendo Switch on September 9. The game features three main modes: Ground War, Salmon Run and a new story mode called Return of the Mammalians. Nintendo has already announced that the game will be supported with new content for about two years after release. A free seasonal catalog comes out every three months. At the same time, new weapons, tournaments and levels also need to be added. Large-scale, paid downloadable content is also planned, but no further information is known about it yet.
