In addition to Assassin’s Creed Mirage, Ubisoft may reveal three more Assassin’s Creed titles during the Ubisoft Forward presentation.
Journalists Tom Henderson (Tryhardguides) and Jason Schreier (Bloomberg) have learned this from sources. Ubisoft previously announced that Assassin’s Creed Mirage will be shown extensively. Two of the other games are part of Assassin’s Creed Infinity, a platform for future games in the franchise. The working titles of the games are Project Red and Project Hexe.
Project Red would be set in Japan with a samurai-like assassin in the lead role. Project Hexe was previously called Project Neo and is being developed by Montreal. Hexe would become the darkest Assassin’s Creed yet. The game is set in the Holy Roman Empire of the sixteenth century, where witch hunts were very common.
The fourth title is Project Jade, a game for mobile devices that takes players to ancient China. The final DLC pack for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will also reportedly be unveiled during the Ubisoft Forward.
On Twitter, Henderson further elaborates on the release dates of the games. Mirage was set to release in 2023 and Project Red in 2024. Project Hexe was reportedly scheduled for 2025, but has been delayed to 2026. The VR title Project Nexus is also still in development, but likely won’t be revealed during the launch.
The Ubisoft Forward will be broadcast on YouTube and Twitch on Saturday, September 10 at 9:00 PM Dutch time.
