Ubisoft will offer various games via Netflix Games from next year.
The publisher announced this yesterday. From January 2023, Valiant Hearts 2 should become playable via the service. Mighty Quest 2 will follow sometime in 2023 and an Assassin’s Creed game should also be available at an unknown moment, although nothing is clear about that game yet. The game is likely related to the live-action Assassin’s Creed series that Netflix has been working on for quite some time. The games will not contain any advertisements or in-game purchases.
Netflix has been offering subscribers games on smartphones for a while now. There is a special tab in the mobile version of the service where games can be selected. The games are free to play outside of regular subscription costs and contain no ads or in-app purchases. However, when selected in the app, the games must first be downloaded, after which they can be started directly via the Netflix app.
