Superstar among the stars, Francis Ngannou is a feared fighter in the UFC today. But originally from Cameroon, nothing really made him such a great champion. It’s even a drama when he was only 15 that changed his life and certainly made such great success possible. Explanations.
Francis Ngannou didn’t have an easy life to say the least … In fact, the Predator saw the plight first before discovering the fame, success and success in the UFC, before living a millionaire life in Las Vegas and filling the arenas of Parisians Nights that was even homeless for a while. Many would have given up in his place, but not him. He wanted to believe in his dreams to the end and the future proved him more than right.
What is less well known, however, is that Francis Ngannou had experienced moments of total distress even before his arrival on French territory. As a teenager, for example, he had to face the tragic disappearance of a loved one, a tragedy that completely changed his daily life. He recently returned unfiltered to this time in a long Instagram post. The fearsome champion actually hides a tender and sensitive heart.
Francis Ngannou: A family drama when he was only 15 years old
Francis Ngannou reveals his colossal diet … and his sweet sin!
Francis Ngannou : 20 years ago my father died after a long illness. He couldn’t financially afford to go to the hospital. I was only 15 and felt so helpless that I couldn’t fight for him. I have sworn to myself that I will do everything in my power to never have to feel that feeling again. A few years later I looked at my mother and wondered what I would do if she too got sick. That thought frightened me.
At that point, I knew that I had to do something to at least be able to provide decent care if necessary. I always wonder what my life would be like if my father were still alive today. I want him in my life, even for a day.
In this great text, Francis Ngannou dedicated himself to his life and childhood with an open heart. The disappearance of his father after months of illness has completely changed his life and maybe even his future. Without that trauma, without that feeling of helplessness, would he have had such determination to be successful? Would he have come to France to discover MMA? It’s hard to say, but the Predator definitely made that grief a valuable mental strength in his career.
Climbing to the top is never easy, especially when you’re starting from scratch. Francis Ngannou had the determination necessary to overcome immense obstacles and this is perhaps closely related to this family drama when he was only 15 years old.
